MJ Jennings is a mental performance and leadership coach specializing in high performance sport, working with student-athletes and coaches to optimize mindset, execution, and performance under pressure.
With over 17 years of experience across elite sport and leadership environments, MJ has supported more than 3,000 athletes, teams, and high performers. Her work focuses on developing the mental skills required to compete at a high level: self-regulation, focus, confidence, and the ability to execute consistently in high-stakes moments.
MJ brings extensive experience within elite hockey environments. She has worked with Hockey Canada at the U18 level, contributed to multiple Team Ontario programs including National Championship teams, and held coaching roles with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), University of Waterloo and the Etobicoke Junior Dolphins.
Her approach integrates mental performance, leadership development, and team culture, equipping athletes with practical systems to manage pressure, recover quickly from mistakes, and perform when it matters most. A former dual-sport athlete herself (hockey & rugby at Princeton University), she understands the challenges that athletes face and is driven to help them reach their true potential.
At MacLachlan College, MJ plays a key role in the development of high performance athletes and coaches, helping to build resilient, self-aware leaders and competitive environments where athletes are prepared to succeed at the next level.
