Faheem Mosam

Graduating from Toronto Metropolitan University, Faheem currently utilizes his expertise in Science Communication and outreach with SciXchange and Let's Talk Science. Beginning his academic journey from MacLachlan College, Faheem's passion for knowledge and dedication to effecting change have been evident throughout his educational pursuits.

 

His time at Toronto Metropolitan University was marked by exceptional achievements, earning an honors degree in Medical Physics with minors in Mathematics and Philosophy. Presently pursuing a doctoral degree in Complex Systems Physics, Faheem explores the emergence of structure within computational systems and the intricacies of the human brain, aiming to significantly advance scientific understanding. 

 

Apart from his academic endeavors, Faheem's commitment to community engagement and Science Communication shines through his role at SciXchange and Let's Talk Science. Here, he leverages his knowledge and passion to foster scientific curiosity and understanding.

From serving as a Year Representative to holding positions such as VP Academic, Co-President of the Course Union, and contributing to the Undergraduate Affairs Committee at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Medical Physics department, Faheem consistently demonstrates exemplary dedication and leadership skills.

 

His involvement in the Faculty Council at Toronto Metropolitan University's Faculty of Science underscores his commitment to shaping broader academic policies and initiatives.
