The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Program challenges young people to step outside their comfort zones, build essential life skills, and develop a strong sense of purpose through hands-on experiences.
This week, our Upper School students set off on their spring canoe trip, paddling through the backcountry and camping under the stars. Along the way, they learned how to navigate the water, set up camp, cook in the wild—and most importantly, how to work together and support one another.
It’s experiences like these that help students grow in confidence, build resilience, and realize just how capable they really are. We’re so proud of their spirit and teamwork on this unforgettable journey.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
