Our Grade 11 Biology students visited the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) for an experiential learning opportunity exploring evolution, ancient life, and the relationships between species and their environments.
Through a guided laboratory and gallery lesson, students connected classroom concepts with real-world scientific evidence, examining biodiversity, adaptation, and the processes that have shaped life on Earth.
The experience encouraged scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and curiosity while deepening students' understanding of interconnected ecosystems and the importance of environmental stewardship.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
