On October 24, MacLachlan College students travelled to St. Andrew’s College to compete in the Fall Fulford Debate Tournament, continuing a longstanding tradition of competitive debate at MAC.
Debate has long been an important part of the MacLachlan experience, giving students opportunities to strengthen their public speaking and critical thinking skills. Through competitions like Fulford, students learn to build persuasive arguments, consider different perspectives, think on their feet, and communicate their ideas with confidence. These are valuable skills that extend well beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to Mercy, Nigel, Isa, Mariam, Joseph, and Elisa for representing MacLachlan College and continuing this valued tradition!
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
