Gr. 4 Rocks Their Learning at the Royal Botanical Gardens
Our Gr. 4 students took their “Rock On” Unit of Inquiry beyond the classroom with a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens!
Students explored rocks and minerals while making connections to the Niagara Escarpment, then extended their learning through an art and nature program using the natural environment as both a muse and a medium. The hands-on experience brought together science, local geography, and creativity in a memorable day of learning and exploration.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
