Today, MacLachlan’s ESL students visited the theatre to watch Sheep Detectives, a mystery film that connected directly to recent classroom learning.
The experience supported concepts explored in both the Intermediate mystery unit and the Upper School media unit, allowing students to analyze storytelling, themes, and media techniques in a real-world setting. It was also a fun way to spend a Friday while making meaningful connections between classroom learning and everyday experiences.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
