Grade 3 Students Explore Art and Nature at Oakville Galleries
Our Grade 3 students recently visited Oakville Galleries for an engaging and hands-on outdoor art experience.
Set along the shores of Lake Ontario, students participated in plein air drawing, taking time to closely observe their surroundings while applying their understanding of perspective, depth, and natural features.
In addition to drawing, students explored relief art, learning how artists create texture and dimension through raised surfaces. This hands-on activity provided an opportunity to experiment with new techniques and materials while expressing their creativity.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
