MacLachlan Intermediate Chess Team Competes at Chess for Charity Tournament
The MacLachlan College Intermediate Chess Team travelled to Rotherglen to compete in the annual Chess for Charity Tournament.
Facing strong competition, our students demonstrated focus, resilience, and strategic thinking throughout the day. The team narrowly missed advancing to the semi-finals, falling short by just two games.
Over the course of the tournament, our players completed an impressive 88 games, gaining valuable experience and continuing to build their skills in a competitive environment.
We are proud of their effort, sportsmanship, and commitment, and look forward to seeing their continued growth in future competitions.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
