MacLachlan Students Shine at IISPSC in Portland

MacLachlan students Zaahid, Marina, and Brianna represented our school at the International Independent Schools Public Speaking Championship (IISPSC) in Portland, Maine. The tournament brought together 37 independent schools from Canada, the United States, and around the world.

Zaahid earned a place in the final round with an exceptional persuasive speech on the human and environmental challenges of recycling. Marina delivered a creative after-dinner speech from the perspective of AI, and Brianna received strong praise for her moving dramatic performance.

We are proud of their accomplishments and the confidence, skill, and integrity they demonstrated on the international stage. Thank you to Mr. Dominato and Mrs. De Rose for their guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the competition.
