Outdoor Learning Experience at Bruce’s Mills Conservation Park
Our Grade 9 students enjoyed an engaging and educational day at the Nature Centre at Bruce’s Mills Conservation Park.
During the trip, students learned how to use GPS technology to locate geocache points throughout the park, building navigation skills and applying real-world problem-solving. They also explored the local ecosystem on a guided nature walk, where they discovered native species, identified invasive species, and discussed human impact on the environment.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
