Our Gr. 5 students enjoyed a full day of learning and exploration at Crawford Lake. Their experience included walking the trails around the lake, stepping inside the reconstructed longhouse, analyzing artifacts, and even playing a game of lacrosse.
The visit offered students a meaningful way to learn about and connect with Indigenous culture through hands-on activities and shared experiences. It was a fun and memorable day of discovery outside the classroom.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
