Our JK students took their learning beyond the classroom with an experiential learning trip to the Children's Safety Village!

Students learned important lessons about pedestrian and bicycle safety with the help of a police officer, who shared a story about crossing the street and ways to stay safe in the community. As they explored Safety Village, students recognized familiar places from their own communities, practised waiting for the bus, visited the police station, and made real-world connections to their classroom learning
