RSIC 2026 in Australia: Day 1

9/25/2026

Our MAC delegates and teachers had an incredible first full day exploring Cairns and the surrounding region.

The day began in the Daintree Rainforest before heading out on a Daintree River cruise, where the group was lucky enough to spot crocodiles in their natural habitat.

From there, our MAC delegates and teachers travelled to Cooya Beach, where they learned about the culture, traditions, and connection to Country of the Kuku Yalanji people.
