Grade 10 students visited Ripley's Aquarium of Canada to participate in a squid dissection, and explore the impacts of a warming Earth on our oceans. The program examined ocean acidification and its effects on shelled marine organisms, directly connecting to their learning in the classroom.
Through this experiential learning trip, students were able to deepen their understanding of environmental science and see the real-world implications of the topics studied in class.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
