As part of their Health & Wellness unit, our Gr. 2 students participated in a Cooksmart workshop where they explored the importance of healthy eating. The session gave them the chance to learn about nutritious foods, practice basic cooking skills, and prepare and share a healthy smoothie with their classmates.
This hands-on experience helped connect classroom learning to real-life skills, while also building teamwork and confidence in the kitchen.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
