Our Grade 5 students had an amazing time on their recent trip to Crawford Lake Conservation Area. They discovered the rich First Nation heritage of our region as they explored a 15th-century reconstructed Longhouse Village!
The students had an opportunity to participate in various traditional activities, including circle gatherings, fire starting, traditional games, craft making, and guided hikes.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
