Grade 1 Trip to Black Creek Pioneer Village

As part of their IB PYP inquiry unit I Can Build a House, our Grade 1 students will be visiting Black Creek Pioneer Village to explore how homes were built in the past. This immersive experience allows students to observe traditional construction techniques, learn about the materials and tools used in early settler homes, and make meaningful connections between past and present building practices.
