Our Grade 8 students recently visited a local water treatment plant to explore how science and engineering work together to provide clean and safe water to our communities. Students observed each stage of the purification process, from sedimentation to disinfection, and engaged in thoughtful discussions around water sustainability and infrastructure.
Experiential learning opportunities like this deepen classroom understanding and inspire real-world connections to science and civic responsibility.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
