As part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Program, our Grade 9 students completed a 9.5 km hike along the Bruce Trail — including a section through the beautiful Forks of the Credit Provincial Park.
Throughout the day, students learned how to light camp stoves, filter water, read trail blazes, and navigate diverse terrain. It was a valuable experience in teamwork, resilience, and outdoor education.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers and leaders who made this experience possible through their preparation, guidance, and encouragement. Your leadership helped turn this hike into a true learning journey.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
