Our Grade 5 students recently embarked on an experiential learning trip to the Ontario Science Centre, immersing themselves in the fascinating Human Body Workshop.
The hands-on exploration included a unique comparison of pig lungs, where they inflated them to observe size and color differences between healthy lungs and those affected by smoking. From monitoring heartbeats before and after exercise to unveiling the lengths of the small and large intestines, our young scientists engaged in a spectrum of activities that brought science to life in a dynamic and memorable way!
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
