Our Grade 9 Geo students recently organized their own town hall meetings to tackle major challenges of the future, envisioning solutions for the year 2067.
These student-driven meetings were incredibly inspiring, as each student took on the role of a regional counsellor responsible for addressing a specific challenge. Some of the challenges they passionately worked on include reducing environmental impact, becoming a responsible global member, managing renewable and non-renewable resources, and navigating a changing economy and demographics.
We are immensely proud of our students for their proactive approach to these crucial issues. By engaging in these discussions and brainstorming solutions, they are shaping a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
To prepare future-ready individuals, we need to share and instill common values across our school community and embed these values in everything we do.
