The Masters Golf Tournament is famous for it's devious greens but Mr. Seidenberg's putting surfaces are at least as challenging! Our annual MacLachlan Masters Mini-Putt Championship held on Friday was the first of our popular Student-Staff events. Mac students and staff joined forces in house teams (Sumner, Chisholm, Colborne and Thomas) to compete for this year's championship.
The Sumner team of Ms. Leys, Carter, Ahmad and Greta finished first with a score of 79, which makes Ms. Leys a member of the championship team for the second year in a row. Mr. Piening and Mr. Seidenberg tied for the low score at 24, with Sam B. coming in first for the students with a score of 25. The three played off against each other in a four-hole stroke play format. Mr. Seidenberg came away with the lowest score, and Sam finished second. When participation points were factored in, the House League points went: Sumner 10, Chisholm and Colborne 9 and Thomas 7 points.
As always participation is a great way to finish the school week before heading off to enjoy the weekend. What a fantastic way to end our very first week of the 2018/2019 school year!
