Housed in a historic mansion in Olde Oakville, MacLachlan was founded in 1978 with the commitment to challenge and explore the limitations of traditional education by developing a bold and creative vision that promotes an entrepreneurial, success-driven and future-oriented mindset that is integrated into every aspect of school life.

Academic Excellence

Always raising the bar on excellence, MacLachlan is accredited as an IB World School, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in our Lower School from Kindergarten to Grade 6, and offering Advanced Placement (AP) in our high school grades, preparing students for future success at leading universities in Canada and abroad.

International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement are some of the most rigorous and highly esteemed education programs and are evaluated to ensure adherence to standards of excellence.
