MacLachlan College, through its Homestay Co-ordinator, will locate Homestays in Oakville for international students wishing to live with a Canadian family.

 

The essence of the MacLachlan family residence is to provide a safe and caring home for the student in a Canadian family setting, in place, and on behalf of, his or her own family. Each student will reside in a local Canadian home and be under the care of the Homestay parent(s). The parents(s) will act on behalf of the international student's family to care for his or her general welfare including meals, health and safety. Transportation to and from the school is the responsibility of the student; school bus service or public transport is readily available.
